What is the hormone that stimulates the heartbeat?

Q. हृदय की धड़कन को उत्तेजित करने वाला हॉर्मोन कौन सा हैं ?
What is the hormone that stimulates the heartbeat?
(A) Thyroxine / थाईरॉक्सिन
(B) Gastrin / गैस्ट्रीन
(C) Glycogen / ग्लाइकोजन
(D) Dopamine / डोपामाइन

ANS: - (A) Thyroxine / थाईरॉक्सिन।

Thyroxine - Thyroid gland produce thyroxine hormone, Thyroxine’s principal function is to stimulate the consumption of oxygen and thus the metabolism of all cells and tissues in the body.

Gastrin - Gastrin is a peptide hormone that stimulates secretion of gastric acid by the parietal cells of the stomach and aids in gastric motility. It is released by G cells in the pyloric antrum of the stomach, duodenum, and the pancreas.

Glycogen - Glycogen is a large, branched polysaccharide that is the main storage form of glucose in animals and humans. Glycogen is as an important energy reservoir; when energy is required by the body, glycogen in broken down to glucose, which then enters the glycolytic or pentose phosphate pathway or is released into the bloodstream.

Dopamine - Dopamine is a medication form of a substance that occurs naturally in the body. It works by improving the pumping strength of the heart and improves blood flow to the kidneys.

Note:- Norepinephrine (noradrenaline) and epinephrine (adrenaline) activate the sympathetic nervous system and cause the heart rate to speed up. Acetylcholine stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system and lowers the heart rate. Thyroid hormones, which affect almost all cells in the body, increase the heart rate. so our answer by our question is (A) Thyroxin.
